Update SMTP settings :

• Make sure that your SMTP server settings are correct.
• Enter smtp.Gmail.com
• Enable SSL or TSL
• Set port to 465 or 587
• Enable IMAP/POP

Checking the network connection:

• Open the Email application and pull the page down to refresh. Now, navigate to the settings window and tap the option of Wi-Fi.
• Turn on the toggle beside the option of Wi-Fi.
• In the last step, check the connected network strength.

Removing and adding the Gmail account:

• Remove the Gmail account and go to the settings section.
• Type on the "Mails, contacts and calendars" option and touch the “Add account" option
• Now choose the application and enter the valid email ID.
• Tap on the Next button followed by entering the password.

Configuration settings:

• Go to the settings app and click on the mail, contacts and calendars option.
• Touch the download blog option and click accounts. Now, choose SMTP and Gmail SMTP server from the primary server section.
• Check the details and change the hostname, username password etc.

Quit the Gmail app:

• Force quit the Gmail App and use the app switcher.
• Refresh the inbox of the Gmail application to resolve the issue.

Check  server settings:

• Tap the easy Gmail icon and choose the menu icon. Hit the settings option. Select the email for which you are not getting notification.
• Click on the “Inbox notifications” option and ensure to checkmark the box next to the "Notify for every message" option.
• Go to the settings window and hit the general settings option.

Battery settings:

• Go to the battery and performance option in the settings window and tap on Gmail.

• Go to the settings option and click on the email account.
• Choose the default inbox as your inbox type and erase all the data from the application
